Dear Fitzbillies,
The Easter term has come to an end, which means it is time for the College-wide End of Year Recycling! We are now looking for volunteers to help us collect and organize crockery, cutlery, pantry and similar items from College accommodation, which will be re-used by new students next year!
Key volunteering dates are:
22nd June 9:30-2pm
29th June after 5pm
30th June 7am-2pm
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact me and I will pencil you in! (🍕Free pizza offered as a reward for your help!🍕)
There is also a collection container (British Heart Foundation) for unwanted clothes at the end of Wychfield Lane, and between June 18th and 29th there will be a donations table in the Screens area for unwanted electronics, kitchenware and similar items that can be reused by new students. Unwanted bikes should be labelled with tags you can get from the Porters Lodge and left in the College bike parks.
I would like to strongly encourage you all not to toss your stuff but to give things a second life, the environment and new students will really appreciate it!! I am looking forward to hearing from you all!
All my best,
Carolina
